Adhyayana Utsavam (Festival of Sacred Study) is the 20-day Sri Vaishnava celebration at Srirangam Ranganathaswamy temple during which the 4,000 Divya Prabandham hymns (Tamil Vedas) are recited in full. It begins on Vaikunta Ekadashi (Margashirsha Shukla Ekadashi) with 10 days of daytime recitation (Pagal Pathu) followed by 10 nights (Ira Pathu), culminating on Vaikunta Dwadashi when the Paramapada Vasal is opened for devotees.
